THIS IS DAD LIFE
The hard. The holy. And the man you are becoming.
You love your kids. But fatherhood can hit harder than you expected.
The pressure. The exhaustion. The moments you lose your temper, check out, or wonder what happened to the dad you meant to be.
You don’t need to become a perfect father. You need a clearer, steadier way to become the man your family needs—and the man you were made to be.
YOU’RE NOT FAILING. BUT SURVIVAL MODE ISN’T A STRATEGY.
Nobody really prepares you for what fatherhood brings to the surface.
You’re trying to provide, protect your marriage, raise good kids, keep up at work, and somehow remain patient while someone melts down over the wrong color cup.
Some days, you’re present and grounded. Other days, you’re distracted, reactive, or running on fumes.
That doesn’t make you a bad dad. It makes you a man who needs more than good intentions.
Drift is not destiny.
BECOME THE DAD YOU WANT TO BE—ONE REAL MOMENT AT A TIME.
This Is Dad Life helps fathers understand what is driving the way they show up, break patterns they don’t want to pass down, and build stronger relationships with their children.
This isn’t about parenting hacks or pretending you have it all together.
It’s about learning to:
• Stay grounded when pressure rises
• Respond instead of react
• Repair the relationship after you get it wrong
• Understand how your own story affects your parenting
• Give your kids both strength and tenderness
• Become more present, intentional, and alive
Because your children aren’t the only ones growing up.
Fatherhood is changing you too.
THE UPCOMING BOOK
You love your kids. That’s never been the problem.
But fatherhood has a way of exposing what is happening beneath the surface—your anger, fear, shame, ambition, distraction, and the unfinished parts of your own story.
This Is Dad Life is an honest and practical guide for fathers who want to move beyond survival mode, reconnect with their children, and become more present in the life unfolding right in front of them.

1:1 Dad Coaching
You don’t need someone to lecture you about parenting. You need a place to get honest about what isn’t working—and guide you into what could be.
I work with a limited number of dads who want to become calmer, more connected, and more intentional at home.
Coaching may be a good fit if:
• You keep reacting in ways you regret
• Work or distraction is pulling you away from your family
• You feel disconnected from one of your children
• You don’t want to repeat what you experienced growing up
• You know something needs to change, but you’re not sure where to begin
We’ll identify the patterns beneath the problem, clarify the kind of father you want to become, and turn that vision into practical changes at home.
I’M CODY BURIff
I’ve spent decades coaching and walking alongside men. I’ve also spent years raising three children, getting plenty wrong, repairing what I could, and discovering that fatherhood changes the father as much as it shapes the child.
I created This Is Dad Life for men who love their families but know that love alone doesn’t automatically make them the fathers they want to be.
My work draws from practical experience, honest attention to our stories, and a Christian understanding of strength, grace, repair, and becoming. You don’t have to have everything figured out—or even know exactly what you believe—to begin.
